Do my clips have a watermark?
No, never. Haze Clips ships every export without a watermark — even on the free tier. That's our biggest difference from Opus Clip.
What file formats and sizes can I upload?
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, and AVI up to 1 hour and 5 GB per video. Audio-only podcast files work too — we transcribe and add visual layouts.
Can I publish directly to TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram?
Yes. Connect each platform once via OAuth and Haze Clips can post Reels, Shorts, and TikToks the moment a render finishes — or schedule them for later.
Do you support 1:1 and 16:9 outputs, not just vertical?
Yes. Default is 9:16 vertical (TikTok/Reels/Shorts), but you can switch each clip to 1:1 (IG feed) or 16:9 (YouTube long-form) in the editor before render. One source, three aspect ratios, one click.
How long does processing take?
The AI pipeline (transcript, hook ranking, clip selection) usually finishes in around 22 seconds. Final render takes another 30-60 seconds depending on length and effects.
How accurate are the AI captions?
Typically 95%+ word accuracy on clear English audio. The transcript editor lets you fix or restyle any word and re-render the clip in seconds — 100% accuracy is one click away.
What languages are supported?
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Japanese for transcription and captions. Auto-detect runs on upload. Other languages render fine — captions default to the source language.
What about copyright and music?
All AI-generated music in Haze is royalty-free and yours to use commercially. We don't ship any third-party tracks by default, so you stay clear of copyright strikes.
How does the AI decide which clips are best?
Every moment gets a 0-100 hook score combining engagement signals (energy spikes, declarative openers, visual interest) and transcript content (questions, lists, surprises, callbacks). The top 10 by hook score become your clip queue.
Can I bulk-upload several videos at once?
Yes. Pro queues 3 source videos in parallel; Studio queues 10. Drop your full week of content in one go.
Does it work for livestreams and webinars?
Yes. Drop a YouTube link of a past stream or upload the Zoom / Meet / StreamYard export — same pipeline, same clip output.
Can I use my own fonts and brand colors?
Yes on Pro and Studio. Upload brand kits (logo, font files, color palette, watermark) and pick one per project. Captions and lower-thirds inherit the kit automatically.
What's the difference between Pro and Studio?
Pro is individual creators: 300 source minutes per month, brand kits, AI b-roll, AI music, direct publishing. Studio is agencies and teams: unlimited source minutes, priority render queue, batch processing, up to 30 clips per source.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription with one click via the Stripe customer portal — no email, no retention call.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — within 7 days of a paid subscription start, no questions asked. Email mail@hazeclips.com with your account email and we refund through Stripe. After day 7 you can still cancel any time and won't be billed again.
What video length is supported?
Source videos up to 1 hour. Output clips are 15-60 seconds, optimized for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Is my video data private?
Your uploads are stored on Cloudflare R2 in a private bucket and are only ever accessed via signed URLs you trigger. We never train AI models on your content.
Do you offer team or agency plans?
