Choose a template, Look or AI Look
The Style section on Home sets the look of every clip a video produces. It starts on Auto, which lets the AI pick the best fit for each clip. Pick a specific Template, Look or AI Look when you want the same style on every clip — you can still change any single clip later in the editor.

Find the Style picker
It sits in the composer on Home, headed Style: "This is what every clip from this video will look like — you can change it per clip in the editor." Hover a card, or press its round play button, to preview the style on real footage.

Templates
The Templates tab is open first. Templates set captions, colour and music together: Punchy Hook, Hype Burst, Clean Explainer, Documentary, Minimal, TikTok Pop, YouTube Shorts, Podcast Clip, Gaming Hype and more. Use the arrows to scroll the row.

Looks
Click Looks for full-video styles that grade and animate the whole clip: Bloom, Ember, Film, Ignite, Y2K, Sketch, Elevate, Vinyl, Impact, Paper, Prime and Volt.

AI Looks
Click AI Looks for full design styles — Spotlight, Money, Bold, Clean, Neon, Pulse, Wave, Retro and more — each with its own title card, graphics and captions. Some blur and restyle the real background behind you; the rest grade the whole frame or place it in a designed frame (see below). The background-restyling looks work best with one person, framed chest-up, in front of a plain wall, with arms kept clear of the body.

Pick one, or keep Auto
Click a card to apply that style to every clip from the video; the AI Editor card then says the style you picked is applied to every clip. Keep the Auto tile ("Auto-select — best fit for this video") to let the AI choose per clip.

When does a look change the background?
Spotlight, Money, Neon, Pulse and Arcade cut the presenter out. Then, depending on the clip's Background setting in the editor, they either stand the presenter in a soft studio backdrop (Studio), or a studio in your brand kit's colors (Brand), or keep the real background and blur, darken or tint it (Original). The studio backdrops are drawn by the app, not made by an image model. Either way this only happens when the cut-out fills enough of the visible frame and the clip's framing is Fill, not Fit.
New clips start on Studio; clips made before it existed keep Original until you change it. Brand needs a brand kit with colors on the clip, and uses Studio without one.
For group or split-screen videos the looks mostly add graphics and color. The real background change is made for single-presenter clips: when the cut-out covers too little of the frame, as it usually does with several people or a split screen, the look keeps the background sharp so no face gets blurred. On Fit, the whole frame stays sharp inside the look's design. The editor says under the preview when either happens.
Bold, Clean and Retro place the whole video in a designed frame, and Wave, Noir, Candy and Slate color-grade the whole frame. None of these cut you out or blur the background.
Good to know
- AI Looks need a clear presenter in frame; a dark subject on a dark background is where they fall over, and the editor tells you when a Look was dropped.
- The same styles are on the editor's AI tab, where they restyle one clip at a time.
