Choose a template, Look or AI Look
The Template control on Home sets the style of every clip a run produces. It starts on "Auto — let AI choose", which hands the decision to the AI Editor. Pick a specific Template, Look or AI Look when you want the same style on every clip.

Find the Template control
It sits above the upload tabs, labelled Template — "Pick a look for your clips". The closed control shows the current choice and a one-line description.

Open the list
Click the control to see three groups. AI Looks — background-swap styles (Spotlight, Money, Bold, Clean, Neon, Pulse, Wave, Retro) put you on a generated background. Looks — full-video styles (Bloom, Ember, Film, Ignite, Y2K, Sketch, Elevate, Vinyl) grade and animate the whole clip. Templates (Punchy Hook, MrBeast Hype, Clean Explainer, Documentary and more) set captions, colour and music together.

Pick one, or keep Auto
Click an option to select it. A specific choice is applied to every clip in the run, and the AI Editor card shows "You picked the … look below, so that style is applied to every clip". Set Template back to Auto to let the AI decide per clip.

Check the AI Editor card
With Template on Auto, the AI Editor checkbox decides whether each clip is styled automatically: it "picks the caption preset, color grade, music mood, and SFX for each generated clip". It is on by default on paid plans and marked Pro+ on Free.

Good to know
- AI Looks need a clear presenter in frame; a dark subject on a dark background is where they fall over, and the editor tells you when a Look was dropped.
- Whatever you pick here can still be changed clip by clip in the editor.
