The editor: captions
Open in editor puts one clip in a workspace: the preview on the left, the timeline underneath and eight tool tiles on the right — AI, Captions, Transcript, B-roll, Music, SFX, Effects and Brand. Captions are the tool most clips need first.

Open the clip in the editor
From a project page click Open in editor on a clip row. The header carries the clip title (click it to rename), the aspect ratio switch, a Saved indicator, QA report, Generate hooks and Render.

Choose a caption style
Click the Captions tile. The Caption style grid previews each preset — Hormozi, Ali Abdaal, MrBeast, Minimal, Subtitles, TikTok Pop, YouTube Shorts, Documentary, News ticker, Karaoke, or None. Click a card to apply it; the preview updates at once.

Set the position
Under Position choose Top, Middle or Bottom. Move off Bottom when the source already has subtitles burned in, so the two never overlap.

Pick an emoji set
"Emoji set (overrides brand-kit default)" adds reaction emoji to the captions in the style you choose. Leave it unset to keep the brand kit's default, or none at all.

Fix words in the Transcript
Click the Transcript tile to see every word in the clip's window. Click a word to delete it, double-click to edit it. Captions are built from these words, so a fix here shows up in the render.

Good to know
- Changes save on their own — wait for the header to read Saved before you press Render.
- Generate hooks in the header opens the AI hook generator, which writes five alternative titles for the clip.
